An asphalt tank is a special storage and heating container widely used in road construction, highway engineering and asphalt mixing stations, mainly used for storing, insulating and heating liquid asphalt to maintain its stable flow state.
The main structural composition of the asphalt tank includes the tank body, thermal insulation layer, heating system, temperature control system, feeding and discharging pipeline, exhaust device and safety protection components.
The tank body is made of high-quality carbon steel plate with integral welding structure, featuring high pressure resistance, sealing performance and structural rigidity to prevent asphalt leakage and external corrosion.
The outer layer is equipped with high-density thermal insulation material and protective shell, which can effectively reduce heat loss, keep the internal asphalt constant temperature for a long time, and save heating energy consumption.
The built-in heating system usually adopts heat conduction oil heating or electric heating tube layout, evenly distributing heat inside the tank to melt solidified asphalt and maintain good fluidity for pumping and construction.
The temperature control system consists of temperature sensors and intelligent controller, which can monitor the asphalt temperature in real time and automatically start or stop the heating device to keep the temperature within the set working range.
The feeding and discharging pipeline is equipped with professional asphalt pump and filter device, realizing sealed feeding, circulating stirring and fast discharging, avoiding asphalt impurity blockage and ensuring smooth conveying.
The exhaust and pressure relief device can balance the internal air pressure, discharge volatile gas generated by asphalt heating, and ensure safe and stable operation inside the sealed tank body.
The working principle of the asphalt tank is to use the thermal insulation layer to realize constant temperature storage, rely on the heating system to provide continuous heat energy, and keep the asphalt in a liquid flowable state all the time.
Through real-time temperature monitoring and automatic constant temperature control, it avoids asphalt aging, solidification and stratification, meets the continuous supply demand of asphalt mixing and pavement construction.
With reasonable structural layout and stable working principle, the asphalt tank realizes integrated functions of storage, heat preservation, heating and discharging, becoming essential supporting equipment in road engineering construction.
