The production of SBS modified asphalt consists of three major parts: swelling, grinding and inoculation. It requires accurate proportioning, reliable control, fine and uniform grinding, prevention of segregation and local and overall aging. Therefore, our equipment is based on an advanced assembly line process flow, with a high-speed shearing and homogenizing mill as the core, and guaranteed by a fully automatic control system combining human-machine interface and PLC, an automatic constant temperature system, an automatic weighing and adding system, etc. Combined with a reasonable formula design, we offer you a set of optimized and humanized SBS modified asphalt complete equipment It consists of the following five parts:
1. Fuel oil heat transfer oil constant temperature automatic control system
The processing of SBS modified asphalt is carried out within a certain temperature range. To ensure a constant temperature within a certain range, domestic high-quality heat transfer oil boilers, pneumatic valves, temperature controllers, heat transfer oil, and German imported burners and program controllers are adopted. Through the automatic combustion and stop of the boiler, the circulation of the heat transfer oil, and the automatic opening and closing of the pneumatic valve, Automatically control the temperature inside each asphalt tank within the required range.
2. SBS, asphalt metering control system:
Strict proportioning is one of the important conditions to ensure the production of qualified modified asphalt. Through the setting of the instrument and the interlock control of the PLC, the proportioning accuracy of SBS and base asphalt can be guaranteed. Specifically, SBS is crushed by the crusher and then enters the screw metering conveyor. The weight signal of SBS is rapidly fed back to the PLC through its counting device and continuously compared with the set value. Under the action of the asphalt pump, the base asphalt passes through the flowmeter. The flowmeter feeds back its flow signal to the set value controller and continuously compares it with the set value. In the program, there are program segments for preventing double addition, no addition and insufficient addition. Each swelling tank must add materials according to the given formula; otherwise, the automatic conversion will not be possible.
3. High-speed shearing homogenizing mill, super mill
This is the core equipment of the complete set of devices, featuring an extremely high shearing probability. It first sends the SBS asphalt mixture into the high-speed rotating grinding discs through the absorption and stirring of the imported screw, where it undergoes countless shearing and grinding processes in numerous grinding teeth and grooves, integrating shearing and grinding into one. The modified asphalt produced after 2-3 rounds of grinding fully meets the JTG F40-2004 standard.
4. Automatic control system
The entire production process is controlled by industrial control computers and imported PLCS from Japan. The production flow is displayed intuitively and vividly on the screen, which can dynamically reflect the changes in the production process. Necessary interlock protection, automatic alarm protection, printing and recording of daily and monthly output, liquid level display and control, etc. are also set up. To enhance the reliability of the entire system, a manual button operation section has been set up in the system.
5. The production process of the assembly line
The complete set of equipment consists of 2 batching tanks, 1 buffer, 3 inoculation tanks, 1-2 high-speed shearing homogenizing mills (super mills), and is equipped with pipelines, valves, etc. to form a production line. Its working process is as follows: After the base asphalt and SBS are proportioned and measured, they are sent to two batching tanks for mixing and blending. After 10 to 20 minutes, they pass through Mill No. 1 to the buffer, and then through Mill No. 2 to the inoculation tank for development. At this time, stabilizers and other additives can be added to the inoculation tank to improve the performance of SBS modified asphalt. After development, SBS modified asphalt is sent to the mixing plant through the asphalt output pump or by the asphalt output pump. Or it can be sent to the finished product tank, and this process repeats itself, with materials being fed in and discharged simultaneously, achieving assembly line production.
